The car will definately be much faster as the area under the graph has increased. Peak power is pub talk, an engine that makes 800bhp at 12,000 revs for 1000revs is no use to anyone, whereas an engien that delivers a steady 170-ish/ft lbs of torque accross the board is the engine that powers the winning cars... thats just my opinion though

you dont need to explain all that to me matey.
i realise that. a graph would explain a few things..
if the turbo runs out of puff at 5 k, then exiting a corner at 5.5k wont be much of an advantage over old spec.
diesel turbos are no good are they. a half decent size turbo will 100% improve everything in my opinion.
