Mapping was much better, lovely constant map readings, although some slight fluctuating TPS readings (Jenvey issue maybe with boost?) which was affecting transients, but not by a degree that would affect anything, just noticable from a mappers point of view.
We also had inlet temps of nearly 50*C so I didnt want to push it too hard. If we used IAT correction on our DD rollers (I tend not to for repeatability on returning cars) then we would of seen around 185bhp.
The final benchmark run will use this, but for progressive mapping I just run ambient air temps (thought I'd add this before any knowitalls chirp up!) to keep readings constant and measure improvement rather than calibrated result.
All cracking stuff though, very impressed with the work that has gone into the car! Always a pleasure to work on it as the guys who built it know the limits and don;t expect silly unsafe targets from what is otherwise a standard block!

interesting stuff.
so as far as improving the car goes,,, a larger more efficient intercooler and a more appropriate turbo will vastly improve things..
from your point of view matt, was there any more difficulty mapping turbo AND boddies over say just turbo or just boddies?? this interests me.
