Been a manic couple of days - been trying to get the afternoons off work, but things keep going wrong
Anyway, put a few late hours in this evening and seem to have achieved quite a lot.
'Borrowed' some cracking crimps, which I've made good use of to sort out the battery cables as part of my battery re-location. This job was SO easy with a decent set of crimps!
I bought a 3-pole junction box from Tweeks a month or so back. That's now in place and wired up. I just need to connect the loose end up to the battery. Will have to do that when I whip the car out of the car port.
After a couple of delays, I've now got the induction pipe completed. Its almost as designed, which is good
I still need to source a new larger air filter - in the pic, the cone is just resting on the pipe to show the pipe run. I'm looking to source a K&N but the universal sizes are no use that Ive seen so far, so could take a bit longer than I would like
I gave the boost/induction pipes a 5minute polish to take the grain/haze off the pipe. I think They'll shine nicely once polished properly!
The only jobs I think I'm going to do now, before sending the car away is wiring the battery up, re-mount the oil catch tank and fit the front bumper. Everything else I have planned might have to wait until the car returns from GMC.
Will try to get the car finished tomorrow, if not, will have to finish on Monday as I'm away this weekend. STILL need to organise a trailer/flat bed too - any suggestions?!
