Sorry but a saxo without power steering is the worst experience i've ever had. My PAS lines leaked and left me with no PAS so i was driving around for weeks without it. Steering 'feel' felt worse and when i did get it fixed the car felt like a GT3 RS!! There is no way you can turn a corner as quickly or as sharply without PAS.

Sure its my opinion but having driven no PAS and PAS i would say there is no question in what i would run...
