Default standard gear linkage length.

well my car has been in for its mot today and the lad said he "FIXED" the problem putting the car into reverse so i said i didn't have a problem he said the selector was hitting the body work so he made the adjustable linkages longer so this doesn't happen (WANKER!!!!)

now the gear shifts are like a bag of nails with a slight grind before the gear engages.

so my question is does any one have a standard set of linkages they can measure for me socket to socket so i can get mine something like normal.

SORTED!!!!!!

if any one who has linkages that are adjustable such as kam racing ones the correct length should be :-
Short x2 = 186mm centre to centre.
Long x1 = 331mm centre to centre.
