alright mate i did mine recently it's quite fiddly to be fair.

rough guide but it's hard to say without pics


Basicaly there are 2 bolts you've got to slacken off first, one underneath the alternator (pivot bolt, about 15mm) and one above which is pretty hidden but you can just about get a spanner in there (pinch bolt, about 13mm)

You should see an adjusting screw comming down underneath with a long thread on it going through a bracket, should have an allen key head. You've got to screw this bolt in (clockwise direction) to relieve the tension.

Once the belt is slack enough, take old one off and put new one on, and then turn the adjuster screw anticlockwise to tighten the belt. You want about 5-10mm of play in the belt on its longest stretch off the pulleys if that makes sense lol

Tighten up the other 2 bolts you loosended earlier then u should be good to go. If its too tight you will probs hear a whining noise, if so then just slacken the belt off slightly
