I had spax on my first vtr mate. I'm 90% sure you turn the adjustment knob on the top of your front dampers clockwise to stiffen the shock. On the rear, you should have a screw on the side of the damper. Use a flat blade screwdriver turning the screw clockwise to stiffen the shock. I would personally back the screws off on all 4 dampers and start adjusting from scratch making sure that all the dampers are adjusted the same amount of clicks. It is 28 clicks from the softest setting to the stiffest.
