I had a bespoke twin core chargecooler made by pace for my old rover turbo coupe, the inlet manifold was really cold. however, the pressure drop across the twin core was pushing the turbo outside the map(overspinning to produce the required pressure), i changed to a pulsar intercooler(had end tank swapped round to fit) & i made more power with less boost & also had less lag.
