Trial fitted the BE gearbox tonight finally.... however there are some room issues which have put a spanner in the works
the front of the BE bellhousing fouls the actuator of my turbo, well not the bell housing, more so the clutch cable arm... will get some pics tomorrow
have a few options now.... - will try number 1 first and see what happens
1 - buy a flange that sits between manifold and downpipe with external wastegate port, this will then get rid of the actuator issue and should be a fairly easy fix, need to do some measuring first though
2 - go back to a ma box
3 - buy a new turbo manifold which doesnt offset the turbo towards the gearbox, will need new downpipe also though
