There probably isn't one single reason why he hung himself, I think alot of people think there is. He could of been dealing with severe depression while keeping it on a low-down...after all he is in the spotlight with a stable family life, so you could understand why he might want to keep it all 'hush-hush', then he maybe imploded (so to speak) and thought killing himself was his way out.....or maybe you just couldn't hide them kind of feelings and there was some reasoning behind it..who knows?!

All I know is that..he was probably a great bloke, but now he's dead, it's a great shame.

But seems to me these days, the more well known you are, the longer the grief lasts.
