Seriously, you don't know what you're talking about. I don't mean to offend you but you will not get any kind of performance gain from small engines with an exhaust and 'chip' as you say.

1.1 Saxo's, 1.2 Clio's and Corsa's, C2 1.1's, 1.4's etc. You could put an exhaust on, fit a 4 branch manifold, air filter, remap etc and you might get a few bhp but it wont make a blind bit of difference. Will never be a fast car or get any significant power gains.

The only small engines you will get good power out of are specially designed highly strung engines. Such as bike engines and even then they have to either be left in a bike or in a kit car as they won't have much torque to pull the weight of a car round.
