The thicker headgasket was a mistake tbh. i didn't realise i used a thinner one when i originally put the engine together, then when i replaced the valves with some sexy ones, i uninetensionally used a thicker gasket.

Wooooops! Decent power for an 8v! How much thicker are we talking? How did you come to realise it was thicker - if at the time of fitting why didnt you just get it replaced for the same thickness as before?

Small update on this - Beanie is poping up to finish the interior loom off this weekend so thats another thing ticked off the list for this winter
