Car(s): Saxo vtr Saxo custom show car ;)
connor_wearing is on a distinguished road
Default the saxo 1.1 east coast :) (sorta show car ;) )

Right so I was 16 and my 17th birthday was on the way so naturally i was trawling through ebay trying to see what i could find in my price range.

was looking a c2 1.1 but then my mate from fusion said to me that he had a 1.1 saxo sat in his garage doing nothing, he said it had a bit of a bodykit on but did need a lot of work. But for nothing I was up there like a shot and signing the log book

So i got it with a bit of a bodykit on and so on so here it what it looked like when i got it

the next step was get all the body work sanded at my local bodyshop (http://www.autokolor.co.uk/ ) I was quite friendly with him so I was down there every day after work helping with what I could and there at the weekends. often with a crate of stella working late into the night

after a couple of weeks we had got the bodywork to a good standard and ready for prima so we got chatting and then we come up with a few ideas and scott ( the bodyshop owner ) had said he had once heard that 206 lights can fit into a saxo with a bit of work so we got cutting and here is what we got

so once again the sanding began and the finally ready for the spray booth
and ready for primer

lovely pink primer I know

" border="0" class="tcattdimglink" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" alt="" />

so once primered it was left to stand for a week and then sanded once again it was back in the spray booth for the final colour

so once sprayed the next stage was the interior and audio
so once I got chatting to tom from fusion and me and him began the boot build the orignal idea was a false floor and one sub because thats all i could really afford :/ however we had a bit of a meeting and got chatting to the fusion market and retail guys and they said they could do the products at cost so off we went to car audio eletronics to pick up the gear and the boot build began

it helps abit when your mum works at b and q and you can get some diy stuff with discount

" border="0" class="tcattdimglink" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" alt="" />

so once the skeleton of the boot build was done it was time to strip it all out again and have the mdf flocked im nottingham based so was searching all over to find someone finnally found a guy in ilkeston who did it

head over to his site there are few of my bits in his gallery http://www.floc-king.co.uk/gallery.php

so once we got all the bits back it was time to get them fiitted here is what it looked like once fitted

so thats what it looked like I was happy but then the sudden relisation of the white not keeping clean hit me and was all changed to black leather which we and my dad had a crack at

so once that was done it was time for the seats so here is what i ended up buying some nice black half buckets

so there is how it stands now the next step for the car is to get some mam mts 1s and hopefully get it on a rayvern hyrdo or bag set up

here is a few more pics of the car

sorry about the small pictures they was taking on a blackberry

any questions and so on feel free to ask going to get a few more pics took tommrow. if you have got hate then please keep it to yourself i built this car for me im aware its not to everyones taste but it suits mine thanks in advance

ill keep you all updated on the air or hydros

car has got its mot soon so if your at any of shows next year and see the car feel free to come and have a chit chat
