Surely a teacher is more of a role model / influencial than a footballer no?
I'm not a parent, but if I were I think i'd be placing more trust in the person my kid see's face to face and interacts with in a school environment than I would the person they go to watch over a barrier once a week at the football.....?!
I don't disagree with AJ's sentencing, but I do feel if his is the benchmark, then the teach should be looking at 10 years.
Either the teacher has gotten off lightly on the basis of being a female offender / male victim, or she's gotten off lightly due to her not being a 'celeb' in the same way a footballer is - generally speaking the past seems to suggest you get away with MORE as a footballer than as a member of joe public.
One way or another though, there's clear inconsistencies - what the teacher did was FAR worse.
