Agreed but you are also putting strain on the box jumping up and down the revs.

My box has done about 70k and it does get abused occasionally. Would it not be the clutch that takes all the crap? I have a paddle clutch on mine which is either in or out. How would that affect the box? Asking now for my own piece of mind!
