You could run it single line? just use a VTS regulator in place of the 1.1 reg and block the return line on the rail using a short piece of hose and a bolt/plug.

So, using the parts you've got fit the 1.1 regulator in the rail - which will be open all the time anyway and the VTS reg from the rail into the holder at the rear. just to clarify that
Thank you, I've done just that today, pretty simple job,I know it's not the proper way but it's better than it was before lol, hasn't solved the cutting out issue though.
