If it's loose, or if you need to swap it, the bolt holding it on should be torqued up properly. From memory it's 20Nm/15lb-ft but check for yourself.
What Wayne says really, most of them you can simply undo the bolt once you crack it off too. they're not tight. I've always managed to change them from the top. I have only done 2 mind you!
