That's not a fact, that's just wrong. That's like saying if you use firefox instead of IE you won't get a virus because most viruses are written for IE. However viruses do exist for macs, it wouldn't be beyond belief that this assertion is due to over confidence in apples pitiful OS market share to avoid worthwhile interest from such writers.
