The iphone comes sim free. Well you get an iPhone sim card already in the phone. You then take it home, plug in your phone and register the contract you want on iTunes.
you cannot get on the phone without signing up for a contract on iTunes. All that is displayed is please register on the screen.
This when you jailbreak the phone. You roll back the firmware to 1.1.1 then jailbreak and install 'installer' you install an application then upgrade to firmware 1.1.2 you can then Jailbreak that firmware. You then chnage the simcard to another o2 one.
Now you have phone that can be used on any o2 simcard, pay as you go or an o2 contract. this was you dont have to go on the stupid over priced tariffs
