If you can find a good honest vts now, which has zero rust on it then its certainly worth paying a premium for. And for folk doing the track car thing, I'd probably be willing to pay more for a solid VTR shell than I would for a rotten VTS. A 16v converted solid VTR is a better option than a swiss cheese genuine VTS in my opinion.

There was a time when you probably coulda picked up crap examples of Escorts / Nova's / 205's etc for buttons - but now that all the crap examples are gone / dead, the good ones which are left are worth fortunes.
There's one in my garage. So I hope you're right haha.
