Always fancied 1 of these and after selling my last 2 cars I've looked at RX8s but never had the balls to go ahead and buy 1.
What is it that actually causes the rotor tips to wear and loose compression? Also, say you buy a good 1, what's the chances of it going tits up a week later? From what I read it's inevitable that they will eventually fuk up. What sort of preventative maintenance can be done? Price wise they are all over the place. 2 like for like low mileage, good history cars can be priced from £1200 up to £3k so what's the price difference actually mean.
Seriously tempted to punt my Gti 180 and bite the bullet.
