I play on very hard mode. If I ever have a quick save where I'm absolutely fucked, I just drop the difficulty down a notch to get out of a silly situation.
I got to the foundary for a mission and quicked saved it during a conversation which lead to a boss fight. Not a chance in hell with my gear of surviving. I had to go as low as easy to get out of it.
Either that or risk going back hours via an older save..
Probably worth noting. I feel its a bit like cheating, but its not compared to some of the hacks Ive read online.
Anyone who has hacked the SPECIALS book to max their stats needs to have their copy of Fallout taken off them.
