Can be hit an miss mate. . .

Mine went on easy straight fit ( with the oil conversion )

But ive heard alot of people having trouble fitting them.

Decent manifold on a budget though.

The Supersprint is a direct fit ? i think and will be your best best

have you got the supersprint centre and back box? hmmm might just risk it and go cheap! how much difference does the manifold make?

Yeah got the supersprint cat back race pipe and 2inch supersprint. . .

and on the vtr it made a noticable difference as it decatted it therefore less restrictive. . .

I've got it on mine mate along with the Supersprint 2" race system, the oil conversion is pretty straight forward but just takes alot of time and patience, sounds the nuts and now its really cold at the minute it sounds awesome, pops and bangs all day long and is really raspy.

Theres no need to fit a 4-2-1 raceland manifold on a Mk2 VTR when the 4-1 manifold is available which clears the oil filter. The 16v engines do not have any issues with oil filters.
As for quality you get what you pay for. The supersprint manifold is a work of art. It uses thicker metal, better welding, better fitting and durability. They are also hand finished to smooth the bore from any welding intrusion. The raceland is in comparison slapped together but benefits that they tend to copy high performing manifolds. The higher tuned the engine is the more it will benefit from the more expensive manifold as flow becomes more critical.
