oil pressure sensor
hi all just have done a vts conversion to my vtr but is it necessary to have the oil pressure sensor as the wires have been cut off the loom would it affect the running off the car? as it seem to run very lumpy at tickover. it also has a chiped ecu so im wondering if that has any thing to do with it too
thanx mike

Don't know for sure but would assume that it would be fine without but you really should sort it out asap as it's abit cowboy otherwise. You have fitted a fuel return line, if they havnt got one on a vtr, not sure? Given it good service, clean throttle body, all sensors and pipes fitted/connected properly?

The return pipe on mine is the same size as the flow. As for testing it I don't know but they all get caked in crap so take the tb off and give the whole lot a clean.

I've a spare one that came with an engine I bought, it's a single plug ecu. More than welcome to try it, not sure if it's locked though.
