It's on the engine to gearbox join.

If you look at the engine from the passenger front wheel, it sits around the 10 o'clock position on the front of the gearbox/engine join, aiming at the flywheel

Is this for really rough running, i.e. on 3 cylinders? Lad I know with a C2 VTS had this, fault code was for crank sensor, but the coilpack was at fault.

Unclip it, then there's just 1 screw holding it in IIRC. Simple as that.

Hi, came across this thread via Google. My C4 1.6 with this engine has just thrown up this fault (P1340 camshaft sensor). I was getting the lumpy 3 cylinder symptoms, so first thought was the coil pack, but now the car wont start at all, so I'm not sure. I'm going to call someone out to test the coil pack for me. Let me know how you get on with your fix and I will do likewise.

Cheers.
