Default Oil Cooler Query

Quick question, getting a Mocal Oil Cooler for my VTS. But do you remove the old oil/water cooler one and replace it with the new one for the Mocal one. Meaning that I will have to either cap off or buy a new top hose so it doesn't have the pipes for the cooler. Or do they both stay on ?

Cheers

Some people have kept both the mocal oil cooler and the old oil cooler but it will stick out quite far so depending on your manifold and set up it may not fit at all and a smaller filter would be needed.

Most people remove the old one and fit a 106 Gti top radiator hose with no take offs so will be a straight fit and solve that problem.
