Standard 1.0/1.1 exhausts
OK people have said your car is loud for a 1.0.
When I got it the backbox had plenty of holes bought a new backbox and bought a new one made it much quieter.
But it's still a bit loud.
I suddenly today realised my exhaust is,
Manifold and downpipe
Cat underneath
Centre Section then backbox.
No middle box????
I want a middle box I don't want it loud, are 1.0's and 1.1's not meant to have one?

i never seen a 1.0 or a 1.1 with a middle box mate i seem to remember a guy bringing his car into work to have a 1.0 centre section putting on his vtr as it had no centre box best just looking for a vtr centre section. andrew pages do a 2 year one for 25.00 for the vtr or a budget one for 20.

Yip that's normal, 1.0/ 1.1/ possibly 1.5D has a straight through centre pipe.

I was well chuffed wen I got my first 1l and it sounded like a racing car! From experience Wiv AX's and sax's no middle box, a rarity Wiv small economic cars these days since modern stuff like the C1 has all sorts of stuff to make them quieter

as above, they dont have them, thats why most fit a 1.0/1.1 centre section to ther vt's and 1.4's.... its a cheap straight through, the bore is slightly smaller but iff on a mildly tund car is negligable
