Default Mowing my lawn

I just noticed a thread on grass didn't bother reading it so thought here is as good of a place as anywhere to ask when I should cut my grass for the last time before winter.

Also how do I get the lines in it?

Buy a rover, perfect lines from it, also picks up the grass, you should cut your grass about 6 times a year, about now is where the last cut should be, as when winter comes.. It won't really grow lol

The lines are created by which way you cut or roll it. Only cut it when it's dry otherwise it'll be shit.

No it wouldn't. Haven't you read the professional gardener's posts? Grass past your ankles isn't long, your equipment is just shit.
/sarcasm

Instead of watering it as well, put Vodka or Whisky on it.

Seasonal cuts are 6-8 times a year, freshly cut grass smells nice, but really we used to do grass mid march to october, I prefer using flymo's.. But lines can be squigly if your shit with one, and you need to rake up your grass afterwards, but its much better in my view.

What a load of bollocks. Where do you get that figure from?

Grass gets cut whenever it gets too long.

This.. Must have cut mine about 15 times this year, easily! If id done it 6, by the time id cut it each time, the mower would struggle to get over it!

+1. I challenge you (without a fucking strimmer) to only cut my lawn 6 times a year. Leave it > 2 weeks over summer than the mower clogs practically!

You what son?

Cut my grass every 6 weeks, Go over it with the Tower of power ride on mower to get the lines and circle around the trees. Then go around the edge with a Flymo.

I'll get a picture at some point.. Alan Titchmarsh would suck my piece if he saw it.

I have a sad life.
