307 HDI DTurbo *Mapped* *K&N Panel Filter* Problems Update 09-01-10!!!
Well as some of you will know from reading my other thread a few weeks back my 307cc was involved in a head on because a guy in a golf fell asleep at the wheel, anyways to keep a long story short its a write off and im awaiting payout etc now!
In the mean time i got myself a new motor and as the gf is now pregnant (found out 2 days before the crash) i got myself a 5 door but still wanted something slightly sporty and fun:
Its a peugeot 307 HDI "52" plate
107000 miles but full service history and loads of reciepts (drives as new)
MOT till end of december
Tax till Jan
17 inch alloys
Half leather seats
Electric everything
Climate control
Cruise control
A/C
Auto Headlights
Auto Wipers
Front individual armrests
New alloy in boot etc etc
So many things and so comfy i love it, got a few lil things to do which are:
windscreen (slight crack since had it)
New droplinks (got but need fitting)
Service (not due but always like to when get a car)
Small dent in passenger door (mate will sort it)
Got it for a bargain price of £2800, anyways heres some pics:

Mine is good mate, averaging about 550 - 570 round town at the minute so can't complain. It's going on a rolling road on Saturday, I have a panel filter here so will be interested to see what it makes.

well been a while since an update - had a starting problem with the car but its all sorted now turned out to be a faulty fuel sender unit inside the tank so a trip to eurocarparts for a new bosch unit sorted the problem out and its been fine since!
anyway after doing a bit of research and finding it on ebay and recognising the name i decided to bid on something and won its a van aaken smartbox and unlike the cheap tuning boxes, i know of a few mates with these on their cars including an accord 2.2 diesel, i also did some research on the net to see if they are any good.
anyways i won the item for £36 and brand new they were around the £290 ive heard so bargain! got round to fitting it just so when i go to work later ill see how it feels and over the next week or so will see if i notice a difference, then its a K&N panel filter and rolling road time to see true results!
heres some pics fitted:
obviously when i get more time over the next day or 2 ill fit it more hidden and neat
comments welcome good or bad!

well drove this tonight on the way to work but didnt give it much as wanted it to run in fir a bit before hand, although on the bits where i did give it a little bit it feels so much more responsive and def feel more torque, its also taken the flat spots that it had on motorway cruising and the car generally feels good again, next plans in future:
Full service
Windscreen replaced
Diesel additive refilled
K&N panel filter
Lowered
Small dent in passenger door fixed
then that will be pretty much it for now other than big clean session, just want it to be mint and a smooth drive really, happy with how it drives now so onto the other things, wont be fast progress but watch this space

drove the car again this morning on my way home from work and feels so much better, definately notice a difference happy with the result tbh well worth the money i paid haha
also noticed i had a slight diesel leak underneath, turns out when i fitted the fuel sender i didnt quite tighten the round thing up that holds it in place tight enough so when i got home i took it apart and refitted it and is perfect now time for sleep though as shattered!

Glad you are happy with the tuning box mate.
I'm using proper PSA Oil and I must say it makes the car run quieter and a bit more responsive. Just been on holiday for the week - done 1600 miles on two tanks.

bloody hell thats good mate, where do you get the oil from mate (and can you pm details of it please) as was going to ask you what you use, i know people prob dont like tuning boxes but i know the name and mates have used them and the company before so i trust them, obv everyone has their own preferences

I buy it from a Peugeot Specialist, I will forward the details (but I'll have a word with him first as hes not been very well of late) but it's a Fuchs oil that you cannot buy in the shops - I paid £19 for 5L.
The more expensive tuning boxes are good to be honest.

Glad you are happy mate, I was debating on selling mine - but it's done 27000 trouble free miles since I got it last January so I can't complain.
