Gearbox roll pin most probably. Same problem as me and a friend both changed this pin and its stopped most of the play

Go Citroen garage and get a new pin (Part number C250924)

can be 4 different causes for it mate not just the roll pin.

roll pil as stated above 30p from citroen /peugeot part no:- C250924

worn or bent linkages.
2 of http://www.106parts.co.uk/s2/page1.p...4=55&part=7658 and 1 of http://www.

106parts....4=55&part=7657

worn nylon selector ball:- http://www.106parts.co.uk/s2/page1.p...4=55&part=8757

worn out nylon pivot bushes (on the bottom of the stick) 2 x part no:- 245052

If you replace the whole lot your stick will be rock solid with no slop at all.
