Toad alarms are spot om you may have a faulty one have you tested it recently

I would not agree as toad are as good as anything else i have fitted its all down to how they are fitted. If the fitter just trys to get the boot with the sonics instead of running a boot wire (that takes 5 mins) then the alarm probably would not have gone off.

Hi all, im new to this site and noticed your comment about toad alarms, i 2 have had a bad experience with them, My car was broken into beginning of this week, they took my headunit, stealth shelf with 6x9's, sub and amp, door speakers, even down to the can of de icer they too left the boot and offside door open and the alarm didnt go off, i was just wondering is there any reasonable priced alarm out there that is trustworthy as i dont realy want to be cleaned out again
Thanks Dan

mine was professionally fitted, it was fitted before i bought the car, as far as i am aware there was no wire going to the boot so perhaps that was the problem, does anyone know of any decent places in and around manchester to get an alarm fitted?

That meen nothing mate.
Me and ian(mr-toad) fit alarms for our jobs and both know that it is not the alarms it is the FITTER. Trust us when we say there is nothing wrong with Toad, meta, sigma, cobra, gemini, clifford or viper. When you start talking about Falcon, microscan and anything that is cheap on ebay thats when you are getting cheap crap.
As for the alarms on ebay like i said they are crap. They will go off all the time and not when they should do.
