Default Ipod headunit.

for a friend
had it with the car
hes got a pioneer
with the ipod lead
and the lead comes out and looks like a usb port from back of headunit

he plugged his ipod lead into to his ipod
and didnt work
can anyone shed some light on this?

not to sure if it will be this but when my ipod wasnt working i reset the ipod but just the settings reset so i didnt loose any data and it worked after that. hope this helps.

That's the model I have. Never had any issue when connecting an IPod, just plugged in and went to it as a source if it didn't do it automatically. Maybe try resetting the IPod as said above.
