Default Plexi??

Hay guys.

ive started my boot install with 2 amps 2 6x9's and 1 12" sub now ive made a false floor and it fits v.snug so no one is gettin it out and seen as the sub and speakers are bolted in ive got no worry of anything disappearing lol, so i now want to make it abit showy if u get my drift.

right now its just a piece of mdf with a sub n two speakers on it (boring) my amps that are underneath the floor light up n look fantastic i want to show them off by puttin plexi glass windows in but i where to get plexi-glass from anyone know??

also any ideas what else i could do with this install?

heres what mine will look like when its done

at the moment everything is just flat on the floor but with time and a bit more money it will be finished im going to use fabric rather than filler so any marks i get will just wipe off.

whilst were on the subject how do u get rid of the alternator wine in the speakers??

okay so ive finally got some plastic but b4 i move on with my build i want to get the wiring done. ive read that people put the power cable for there amps through the gromit that the bonnet release cable goes through. now im reluctant to do this, i tried it befor and ended up cutting one of my fuel pipes epic fail lol.

so the question is will i be alright running my power cable under the car and then through a hole in the boot floor to my amp, so long as i run it so its not to near the exhaust or anywhere near where im gonna jack it up i should be fine right??

cheers mike

Come on ash your advice is more like preaching mate. Like i have always said Its up to the individual whos car it is to what they put in it. If you have somthing to say shore say it but every time the "6x9" pops up off you go and every one is getting sick of it so are not supprised people dont listen to you.

If you want 6x9 speakers then have them.

It can be down to lots of thigs.
Are the rca cables run with the power cable?
How good is your earth on the headunit and amp?
Have you mounted the amp to metal?
Is you head unit old and is this coursing the problem?

If all the answers are no you could try a rca suppressor (google it)

okay im well aware that 6x9s are not v.liked on here but at the moment they do the job until i get my other amp in to which i have 1 pair of 10cm's 1 pair 18cm's plus 2 cross overs plus i cant fault the 6x9s they produce decent sound so i cant complain, dont get why there so disliked.

mike
