Rant (sorry if in wrong place)
I have just spent £2500 on a new combi-boiler and fitting. Now i dont have a problem with the boiler as such, but when they came to survey the house, they said the boiler would easily fit in a cupboard without a problem in the kitchen.........they have fitted the boiler and done all the wiring work (and i now have hot water and central heating which i have not had for months)......but i have had to hack the cupboard about to make it look anything like, but it is no-where near perfect...but the doors shut etc.....
ARGHHH

Our boiler cupboard is pertrudes out slightly more than the rest of the cupbards in the kitchen.
So you're saying that you're not happy that you had to do some extra DIY to make the boiler fit when they said it would fit without any modifications?!?!

Think yourself lucky, i live so far out in the sticks i cant have gas. We could have oil but thats stupid expensive to have a tank built in etc. We just have a coal fire with a boiler and a emersion heater. Pants!
