Default anyone want cheap high quality comps?

well look no further:

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/1167.html

these are great comps, i have fitted a set in a mates car and can back this up

im sure coonper, csvtr, and pred can all say that these possibly the best comps for under £50

just a little bit of info for all the guys i see posting comments about budget comps.. and thought id make everyone clear of the special offer that CAD are currently doing

also: anyone wanting a small budget amp with good quality to power these comps..

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpi...22-p-5748.html

something like this will do the job nicely

oh and yes.. the amp is underpowering the comps by 5wrms each.. but on a budget set up its all you need. and it will sound a LOT better than all coax speakers on the market within the same pricerange. and better than all comps within the same pricerange

hope that little bit of info helps anyone out who wants better sound for around £100

Yes, as said, i will definitely vouch for these comps.

They are well up there with some of the big named comps.

I ran mine in the saxo, with 150rms into each and they thrived off it! They never smelt and they still worked after a year. I gave them hell!!

if you had these in the front of youur saxo would you bother putting them in the back 2 or just leave them standard as you wont hear them to much?
as the speakers are only £35 at the moment guess could put them front and rear then just have a sub also then sound system complete?

nah.. never put rear speakers in a car.. all you need is a set of amped comps up front and a sub in the boot.. rear speakers ruin sound staging and SQ

Wrong, the amp is overpowering by 15 RMS

Those comps are 2 Ohm impendance, meaning the amp will be throwing 70W RMS at them

Sorry to be nit-picky, either way speakers can always handle more power

I'll vouch for the 507c's as well. They take a bashing very very well and some more.

Wow what an amazing price for such a highly recommeded set of component speakers, thanks for sharing the great price with us Ashleyp, wish I could afford both amp & speakers, think I'll be investing in aset of speakers now then save up for the amp at a later date.

ManC

Few pics to help people get an idea of what there getting.

both ideally...cant remember which amp it was if it takes 4 gauge buy that if not 8 gauge... sound proofing will help stop rattles and produce a better woofer sound...
