Your not even doing the planned championship now then?
The guy was a complete ass...

He was insistent that we remove the sponsored door squares and fit the BTRDA / Silverstone tyres ones, plus run a sponsor stack in front of it, plus remove the sunstrip and fit a BTRDA / Silverstone tyres one. In 2008 we ran with a small BTRDA registered crew logo on the car.

We point blankly refused, as we have sponsor commitments and people have paid to put there names on the car, plus we dont even run Silverstones, so why do we have to avertise for them! He also wanted us to remove the Khumo Tyres decals on the front bumper! That was what pushed both of us over the edge, and basically told him what we thought of the best rally championship in the UK being fooked up by having a stupid tyre deal with the shittest tyres in the UK.... Rant Over..... lol

So we are now going to pick and choose certain events through 2009, in hope that the poxy control tyres are removed for 2010!

Not seen Steve that angry for quite a while... There were few 'quite rights' heard from in the room..... lmao...........

Just to top it all off, when we were in the last emergency service before the drive back to finish, there were several crews registered for the championship, removing Dunlop and Michelin snow tyres and fitting the control tyres to go over the finishing line with....
