Question Removing Standard Front Speakers.

Hey guys.

I looked in the FAQ section and it says to drill them out.

Now i dont think i have a drill lying around.

Is there any other way to remove them? as i no mine have the grommit things rather than being screwed in.

Thanks in advance

When i took mine out i didnt drill them out i got a small pair of sharp wire cutters and snipped off the back part of rivet and the front fell out, obviously i had to break the plastic speaker part out first but they were never going back, depends on weather you want to keep them or not, if you do maybe drilling is the only way

The pop rivets are only aluminium. Get a screwdriver and prise an edge up them give them a yank with some pliers. should get them off.

Or get a chisel under the edge that you have prised up and give it a whack, which will cut the front off the rivet off.
