Default sont cdx-gt25 wiring loom

Bought one of these yesterday from Halfrauds as I couldn't be arsed waiting any longer, I have a query about the wiring loom.

The head unit boots up fine, but doesn't hold eq/radio station memory once the car's turned off. Upon restarting the car every thing's back to factory standard. Reading the wiring diagram and noticing the loom wires...I need to shift stuff around on either the loom from the stereo of the loom from the car, which ever is easier. Here's photos to help:

Looms from the stereo:
block one top and bottom

block two top and bottom

looms from the car:
block one top and bottom

block two top and bottom

So the black cable from the car, the wires are in different places, the two white ones from car/stereo have wires in every slot unlike the black (just four)

I'm wondering how easy it is to pull those cables out and rearrange them (easier on the car or the stereo loom?) and what colour corresponds with what as they're different on the car/stereo looms.

Sorry for the epic post, just don't want to have to set eq and such every single time I'm in and out of the car

the saxo wires are not colour matched! so dont worry about the colours matching up. all you need to do is swap the red and yellow wires over on the headunit loom. cut the red and yellow wires and link red to yellow and yellow to red. or if your red and yellow wires have bullet connections halfway down pull them appart there and swap them over. thats all you need to do mate. i did the same with my headunit a couple of days ago.

Cheers for the reply Benzo. So basically I just get it so the wires are in the same position, as in pull them out and relocate them in the stereo loom? no need to match anything up colour wise at all?

ok, mind taking some photo's of the wiring looms for me when it arrives? When you get it and have installed it, hold the volume button down (after changing the eq setting to custom) and the 'loud' control is in there, improves volume and sound quality quite significantly I find! Just a shame I have to do it every time I get in the bleedin motor!
