I spoke to someone the other day and he said he was out there last year in his VTR.

And i've seen some slots for sale on different forums.

I'm wondering weather its just certain slots for Rally cars only?

What times you on?

Im on 4 times on the circuit then 2 times on the rally stage

What cars are eligible?
It is very important that the event retains a rallying theme throughout. Hence we ask that all participating cars on display and on track have a connection with rallying. We do not require club cars to be actual rally cars, just the make and models to be synonomous with the sport e.g. Mitsubishi Evo, Ford RS, Subaru Impreza, Peugeot 205 GTi, Sunbeam Lotus, Mini Cooper, Audi quattro, Lancia Delta Integrale etc.


Then same site i read this:

Only rally cars are eligible, but they can be anything from a grass roots low budget cars to a full spec World Rally Car. The car will need to meet the circuits strict 100dB limit and driver and passenger must wear helmets and have their arms and legs covered.

Yea i've just read the site.

I have the word Rallye in my car therefore it has resemblance to a Rally car

Says 205 GTi's so im guessing there won't be a problem!

I'd do some tidying up, and wind down the front 5-10mm too.

what lap times est were you running at brands.

Think i need to alter my tyre pressures and lines as i only ran a few 58s.

Cheers..Quite alot has happened recently, completley de-stickered, rebuilt carbs, dropped the front down quite abit and some other bits and bobs..Need to change the cambelt and give it a full service next along with an MOT for next season..

Its now lowered on the front..Will get some pics soon..The coilovers were a bastard to lower..Proper tight adjusting rings..

Not sure Ryan tbh..We were on shite tyres, only went for abit of fun and to have abit more practice in the car..I would say around the minute mark..Not entirely sure though tbh..Was going well though..

Hey all..Been a long time!

Anyways..Quite a few things have happened with the 205..Has been completley de-stickered and re done with our first couple of sponsors..The carbs have been re-built and we now have a Pipercross airfilter on the Carbs, its not on trumpets anymore..Its had a good service and check over and all seems fine..We fitted our intercom the other day aswell and put a new bonnet on..Its been tidied up generally too..

Our first event will be on the 7th of Feb at Goodwood..Really looking forward to it and one of our sponsors specialises in motorsport media so we will have some good onboard action..We are alos having a website made atm..Our team is called MJRallying, will put a link to the site when its completed..

Took the car for an MOT a week or so ago and gave it a good 60 mile run, all seemed ok so we are all set..Also we were given some Kumho (sp) V70 soft compound tyres from another sponsor, got those fitted to our spare rims the other day..

We are just waiting on our Nomex overalls to arrive then we are ready to go! Entry has been secured for the event etc..

what sort of rallying are you going to do? tarmac?

i assume mark is driving your co driving? fair play to you both, i did think you where both dreamers but you're nearly pulling it off

Aye it is indeed..All tarmac, its setup for that and thats what we want to do..

Mark is driving yes and i'm co-driving..We always had every intention to rally it, its un-driveable on the road on daily basis and mark sacrificed his road car for it..The first event cant come quick enough!
