not entirely keen on the colour of it either - i think id have somehting a little more original, a bit old skool like this golf:
not to everyones taste but itd get noticed
[edit] yeh im actualy down quite often mate - either at the cinema or bowling etc, do us a favour and PM your mobile number and ill give u a shout when im next down yeh?

update on the plans
when i get the time and money, which should hopefully be at the end of next month, and into the new year - these r the current plans (as well as other bigger plans..)
1. Front and rear bumpers colour coded; and getting lower grill removed and black mesh put in instead
2. Rubstrips sprayed gloss black
3. New smooth bonnet with no grill (possibly some louvres)
4. 16" white speedlines (unsure of which model just now though)
5. dimma cage
then further on:
6. old skool white leather recaro buckets
7. complete dash smoothed and sprayed white/door cards etc in white leather
8. morette quads up-front, smoked rears
9. standard spoiler completely removed/or replaced with an ecosse auxia style one
10. boot smoothed
11. possibly, but unlikely fit full dimma kit
...and in no particular order, and there maybe variations - but thats the general jist

sounds like it's gonna be a beast Joe. particularly like the idea of losing the grill on the bonnet and opening up the lower grill. i'm also planning on smoothing/spraying the dash on mine as soon as i can get off my arse and actualy buy one
not sure about a dimma kit suiting the 16" speedlines, i'd leave the standard kit and go rally slag with a proper cage instead of the dimma show cage. oh yeah, are you touching the engine at all?
and empty your pm inbox

Sorry bout the inbox buddy! never even noticed!
yeh - as I said im not too sure on the Dimma kit, although I'll be definately changing my sideskirts at somepoint - and Dimma r prob the nicest!
the only reason I was opting for the show cage was because it was chromed, and the buckets im wanting dont have harness slots - so wouldnt actually be attached to the cage. but we'll see!
As for the engine - thats gonna be done last, as I wana turn 21 first before i start playing around under the bonnet, merely for insurance purposes alone. Premium will be high enough with the current plans, so if i take my time and do it right - ill turn 21 and my premium should drop considerably, then the fun can begin!
Think Im gonna take it as far as i can naturally aspirated - full stainless exhaust with GMC manifold, Cat cams, lightened + balanced flywheel, dastek unichip. aswell as some wilwoods/brembo's! and depending on funds - maybe some throttlebodies
but after that Ill be changing car, as Ill be able to afford more insurance on a turbo'd/sc'd car
