your best bet is ebay, a wouldnt go to and audio shops for buying, fitting the prices are just ridiculos. vibe sbs with built in amps are canny they have a amp out aswell so you can buy another amp and power your other speekers for instance buy a 4 channel amp and get 2 sets of tweeter/components with cross over box this shud give u a decent system, its what i have aand im happy with it u shud be lukin to pay about £400 also buy a decent head unit u shud be lukin to pay atleast £100 for a head unit i got mine of ebay shud of bin £280 new got it for £35 propa bargin

Hope this helped

Read this to give you an idea of what you need:
http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97701

Then decide how much you want to spend, more, less?

Have you got anything already, headunit etc?

If you want loud bass you'll need a sub and amp at least and its best to get some decent components up front running of an amp.
Fusion, vibe stuff gets slagged off all the time but they do make some decent stuff. JBL is popular budget gear and can be found cheap on the ebay etc.

am i right in thinking that geting the speakers and subs with the highest RMS rating you can afford and amping them up to a similar level will make it as loud and bassy as possible?
