In car is much better quality than last time, awesome footage!! You've done really well dude, glad you see your both enjoying it as well. Car looks like its performing very well and being driven well, as you say, just need to push it harder in the early stages but thats easier said than done. How noisy is it in the car without the intercom system (headphones not on)? As all the cars i've been in you can't even hear the person sat next to you shouting lol.
This car ever going to see some proper rallying in the forests also? . Can't beat giving it a good thrashing and hitting 90+ on the straights with trees a couple of foot either side

Yeh its better now im using a different camera!! I didnt want to push hard on the earlier stages as it was very slippery alot of people went out through crashing early on etc....
Hard to get a feel for speed on that video tbh mate...some places are around the 100mph mark, with the intercom off i cant hear the co-driver at all lol
No this car is setup solely for tarmac (sealed surface) rallying and thats where it will stay, my plans are in the few years to either rebuild engine etc and respray this car or buy an ex works S1600 possibly a puma as there very cheap compared to C2's/saxos.....
Its very quick on tarmac so thats where its staying!!

Fair play, I understand that speed isn't really demonstrated well by on board cameras, it never is. You feel as though your ploughing through the corners soooo fast but on the on board it doesn't look fast at all. That can be said for all types of driving though lol.
Pahhh, you know forest rallying is where it really lies at . Nah, as long as your happy and get the fun factor from it thats all that counts and im sure you bloody are lol! How often does the engine need building roughly? As the cars I have been in, in the past and sometimes help in the service areas need rebuilds after every competitive year. The bills usually come in at around 22k too..eeek...but were talking about WR1 spec focus's here lol.
Looks a very tidy car though, rough round the edges but that's how rally cars are meant to look. As you say, its quick....seems to perform really well for a 1.6 to say the least!!

The engine never needs to be rebuilt just very well looked after ie oil change every 2 events etc etc....costs a fair bit to run and maintain, the last rally i did it was 48 stage miles and i used £35 of fuel lol
Yeh very high strung engines as in WRC cars and S1600's are costly to rebuild and require it often!!
The 205 is looking very rough around the edges at the mo more then most rally cars possibly, after all its dones around 30 rallies now...
Its very well sorted for a 1600, i only bought it from its history not its condition, the previous owner developed it over 2 years and rallied it over that time and got a serious amount of sponsors, then was given an evo 9 to drive for a rally and now getting a brand new fiesta st challenge car paid for by his main sponsor!!
So it proves the car is very capable (even ive proved that already) 1st in class in the event just gone!!
