Default Removing rear window to tint

Hi i was woundering if it is possible to remove the rear window on a saxo so that i can tint it myself. i already attempted myself with the window on but took it straight off ass it bubbled and scratched. I tinted my side winsows previous however was granted i could remove the windows.

i've already recarched window tiniting on this forum but cant find anywere that shows you how to remove the rear window. It is as you will know heat wired however you should be able to remove the winsow, tint it and re-insert the window correct me if im wrong.

Thanks

I don't think its possible mate.

you dont need to take your window or boot off. get a heat gun,a simple hair dryer will work too

Last months, or could have been the month before, French Performance car magazine had a guide to tints. They removed the rear window on a Megane to ensure it was cut to the right size. I was just glancing through the mag in the mags section at Tesco so I'm not 100% sure, but I'm fairly sure they weren't just some average Joe doing the job.

You can take the rear window out otherwise people wouldn't beable to replace it (if needed) and how do you think they put it in in the first place lol.

if you take out the rear window, you'll have to cut the seals and get new ones when you put it back in.

This thread is really interesting...Not because I want to tint my rear window...
but because im look to replace the seal on it....
Anyone know if its an easy job? Cost?
Anyone taken their window out and put it back successfully?
