hi again, was on here a few years ago with a two tone vtr
then i got all sensible and bought my leon fr,
bored now so bought a trackcar/ potential replacment for the leon.
got some good upgraded with the car already, magnex back box on the car already.
266mm disks, (calipers are in the apex box)
apex -50mm spring and shock kit (brand new unused)
seller (BFannon) also included a full spare set of vtr wheels and 3 spare steels with tyres. (thanks mate)
63k miles, cambelt done, got no history but car seems clean enough for £800 with 6 months t+t.
plans are a bit mixed atm, fitting of the above, as the brakes are almost dangerous.
new top mounts
new track rod ends
new rear disks and pads
a set of 15's if they come up at the right price,
fix blowing centre section (bidding on a magnex cntre on ebay)
and tidy the panels up
some small mods depending on whether i get riid of the leon or not

this was yours? you sold it to Bfannon then?
love it mate, bit rough around the edges, but that was the whole point of the car. something for me to work on.
really shifts above 4k tho.

just what ever comes up cheap,
possible manifold, decat, induction kit,
the lowering kit and brakes are going on,
refurbing both sets of alloys, one in white and one in some lurid colour.
will just be keeping an eye out for anything cheap.
it mainly a track car so

im afraid you wnt see much of the saxo in morecambe etc, it lives in kings lynn where im based atm, once it gets fixed up i might sort out some insurance and bring it home every now and again.
they do quite a few trackdays at RAF marham during the spring / summer months and they are about a quarter of the price of most trackdays.
the last one was £55 for one day and £60 for the weekend. and it looked like ace fun.
not seen you about in a while like,

I have one in a similar place, and I bought a new one, but don't wanna put it on if that's gonna happen again.

not got any pics but been
painting the spare set of wheels true white,
washed all of the plastics in the interor,
got rid of that steriotypical saxo smell,
painted 266mm callipers red,
bought an induction kit and strut brace
and saved 2kgs by throwing away the boot carpet

not done much for a while due to waiting for parts too arrive,
fixed the exhaust tonight, stopped the blowing centre section by fitting a non-silenced magnex centre.
not quite as loud as i hoped but sounds nice, needs rid of the cat tho!
very bad pics of car with gti wheels.
brakes all round this weeekend, then suspension shortly after.
