Rite after picking up a 1.1 forte for £700 and then getting it to just how i like it then writing it off after a month of owning it lol anyway heres the thread alot of good info in it -

I picked up a standerd 1.4 Clio for £600 and gave it a bit off work



Then Got a Phone call from a boy asking me to swap my Clio, for a VTR Converted to Vts Engine with Newmans Ph3 Cams and Remaped, how could i resist, i even got £150 off the boy ontop of that as the windscreen was cracked




Then Fitted a 4" Back box i got off my mate


Engine Could do with a clean, and making a coil cover


Nice GTI Interior for sale £225 pm me if u want it


Pulls Well into the Late 7ks


Keep you all updated, wont be long in me doing it up, month or too and it should be finnished.

Just Orderd Parts too:
- Dimma Grill
- VHT Caliper Paint
- Blue VHT Rocker Cover Paint
- General Body Clips
- Checker Plate to make a Coilpack Cover
- White Paint to respray Vtr Alloys
- Tint Spray for rear lights
- Window Tint Film
- Paint and Primer for Interior
- Paint Strut Brace
- Wiper Gromit

Will be ordering more tomorow

Also Aready Got to fit:
- 2 X Subs
- 2 X Vibe Door Speakers
- Amp and Wireing
- 2 X Vibe 6x9`s

Planing on making money off it since i basicly got it for £450,
spend a couple hundred on it and punt it on for a couple of grand

eather that or if i do put it on the road my mum says i have to declare it otherwise im not geting on her insurance lol, nothings set in stone though just sitting in my garage getting work done on it over next month

courier could do you them for £200 if you wer to book it?

also got looooooooooooooads of parts orderd last nite, off college next week so will look ten times better, engines getting droped and painted, bay is getting painted, wheels painted and loads of other new parts and a fauls floor with 2 subs an amp n new speakers all round

there led ones i mite try split them and paint the crome black so they will be black l.e.d lights , eather that or a suttle tint

as for striping it depends on the cash situation when its roll cage time lol

If you want to make some money on it, it'll sell better without the rear lights & exhaust if you ask me, maybe swap the exhaust with something slightly more subtle like a Magnex?

But good work on getting it for a bargain.

the tailpipe isnt that big it just looks big in that photo but i know what u mean, going to try n split the rear lights n spray the crome black.......

i repeat the word "try" lol

start workin on it on tuesday so will have a photo heavy post later on in week

Little bit of progress today

- Dimma Grill Fitted
- Strut brace and fan are now dayglow orange
- rear light de-cromed :L lol
- interior sprayed blue
- slam pannel resprayed
- Fixed CD Player Wiering
- Smoked headlights

only had a couple of hours but did not bad lol

Rite done a wee bit over last few days,

Engine Before


Engine now - Halfway there bay still needs done


Windows tinted


Rear lights before


... And now


There not as dark as they look in photo though

Bit of interior painting


Loads more done but not got picks eg.
Dimma grills fitted,
Orange fans
Orange strut brace
resprayed slam panel
painted calipers
fitted amp n subs, 6x9s and door speakers
New Fan Remote Sensor and switch (Eather on all the time or sensored)
fitted my extra swithces in interior
made coilpack cover
etc.................

Subs and amp - not great i know but Meh...


Still on axel stands getting work done, should be worth it

Engine Bay Almost Done, Lost my Coilpack cover i made forgot to bolt it on n took it for a spin Ooops



Better pic of the back lights and the T-cut badges



Engine Done shame about the fan it looks a beast without it



Side shot, painting alloys soon



Wiper arms just painted and headlights and dimma grill fitted, sits 25mm of the deck on the front

If you don't like the look of the fan up front. why not just buy a suction slim line fan from ebay to sit behind the rad ?? not very expesive and do the job just the same
