Theres no need to fit a
4-2-1 raceland manifold on a Mk2 VTR when the
4-1 manifold is available which clears the oil filter. The 16v engines do not have any issues with oil filters.
As for quality you get what you pay for. The
supersprint manifold is a work of art. It uses thicker metal, better welding, better fitting and durability. They are also hand finished to smooth the bore from any welding intrusion. The raceland is in comparison slapped together but benefits that they tend to copy high performing manifolds. The higher tuned the engine is the more it will benefit from the more expensive manifold as flow becomes more critical.
