if you go to the place you were going to get the pond liner from they have off cuts usually they have off cuts from massive ponds they cant sell on. Unless you were going to get it online as you live in the middle of nowhere, also why stop at the garden pete carry on into the field

LOL doubt the farmer would be happy...the garden is big enough as it is anyway
The pond liner wasn't just a sheet liner it was a preformed plastic liner...for a small pond thats what i needed, would never look neat enough with the sheet liner..
Another part of the garden i've started is the side of the house where the coal etc is kept...used to be stacks of coal in bags here with allsorts of shit, was a mess.. Got 2 coal bunkers off one of the lads at work who's father-in law was dying to get rid of them as he wanted wooden decking down where they were..
Coal bunkers neaten the place up...still a heap of work to do here, includin digging out all the old chips and shite and putting fresh chips down...and gonna give the oil heating container a lick of grey paint as it's a disgusting mess

Nice bit of landscaping there man, get some more features in, maybe some dry stone walling around would look good, sure you can find enough decent faced stone around there!

Mmmmkay. lol
Seriously that is a cool view. I take it you are on oil/diesel central heating living out in the sticks?
That's the best thing about living in the middle of nowhere. You can do what you like on your land and nobody moans about anything.

Hmm not sure where i could put a dry stone wall...would probably look out of place
Planning growing another hedge directly opposite the one thats there on the other side, so there will be the old hedge, then the wooden decking, then a patch of grass, then another hedge...to hopefully keep the wind at bay a bit
There's a few other bits about like a corner with mint in it, a flower bed beneath the sitting room window, and gonna stick a raised flower bed on the other patch of lawn
Also have an archway bit which i'll stick some climbing roses on to grow up it or something...i dunno i'm new to all this shit but got a few ideas
Can't wait to get it done not only for the fact it'll look good but because every weekend i've been working hard on it and i'm pretty fucked, this is the first weekend where i've done fuck all

LOL no really, just normal herbs etc...i aint smoked da herb since i was about 19
We dont even have central heating, the oil is to heat the Rayburn however you spell it...you can cook on it and it heats up our kitchen...the rest of the house you need to light the coal fire in the sitting room that we don't use, which heats the radiators in the bedrooms
The bathroom though has no heating which is a cunt in winter!!! Freezing getting out the shower

We have an electric cooker to cook on but if you're not in a rush the rayburn does the job!
Yeah theres lots of things in the water...sheeps piss, deer piss...even dead sheep and deer sometimes :/
The h0es are the same as everywhere tbh some of them love the tail and some are a bit more conservative about it.. I live near a little village of about 900 people and theres only a handful of girls in it that i haven't been with, doesn't take long to get through them tbh...a few tidy ones and a few rotters same as every other place
