Default Idiot question....

Hiya...

My parnter has a 2003 1.4 furio with a knackered gearbox...

Can anyone tell me if all the saxo gearboxes are interchangable?

Were looking at a 1.1 box from a 2000 saxo, however looking at clutches there seems to be different part numbers.

Any help would be great... Tried searching but cant really come up with anything solid...

Keepgetting rubbish about 106's lol...

Take it their the same engine as the saxo..

So which clutch would you use if the boxes are the same? Im thinking the one for the engine year due to the flywheel etc?

Saxos and 106's are the same cars 95% of parts are interchangeable, and you use the standerd clutch for the car.

as looking at the clutches there are diff models...

or

Their both the same dia, and guessing if the splines were different, then the boxes wouldnt be interchangable...

use what ever box you want, be it saxo or 106, they will all fit.

and as for clutch, use the clutch kit made for your year and model of car, saves confusion then.
