Gym noob
Hi all I have recently joined a gym to get some muscle to benefit myself and feel stronger. Can anyone recommend some workouts I should start doing to get me into the basics without making myself look like an arse on the gym
Thanks
Ryan

low weights high reps basics , arm curls, bench press, squats, dead lift, lat pulls when you get used to them and correct form then switch up to taking protein shakes and proper weights to gain muscle and working your body groups seperately and resting or some people like to treat the body as 1 is depends on your goals

You dont need to do PCT when taking protein shakes u div!!!
Make sure you get all your compound exercises in. Bench press, deadlifs, squats. Try an start with 3 days a week, to be honest you dont want to be doing a typical 5 day split routine if your a beginner.
EG:
Mon: Chest, tri's
Wed: legs, and shoulders
Fri:Back and Bi's

Whoever runs the gym should show you how to use each machine and give you some general routines. Dont be affraid to ask, we all were in your boots at one time. When I first went I struggled with the bar, now Im pressing 160kg
Only took 7-8 years

Ask people and watch people mate, that's what I did, watch out for some of the meat-heads tho, not so helpful (unless you speak grunt).
