Mauritius mk2 VTS
Hey everyone, have been looking through a few progress threads so thought I would start my own.
I bought a mauritius blue mk2 VTS a couple of weeks back from somebody on here, and I love it! Had a mk1 VTR a few years ago and despite it being a chavvy mess when I got it, I had so much fun and thought I would come back to the saxo scene but go 16v this time
Anywhere, here she is when I first got her
To be honest, I haven't done much to it since I got it other than tint the fogs yellow (absolute bodge job this afternoon but only as a tester, mate is doing it properly at the weekend) and also put deposits on a few cheeky things which will be with me as soon as I get paid this month on the 17th
My plans are as follows:
Raceland 4-2-1 manifold
Supersprint 2" race system (keep silencer to avoid baked bean tin sound)
708 Cat Cams
New brake pads and possibly discs (keeping current GTI-6 set-up)
New wheels, perhaps Schmidz (sp?) or Rallye Steelies but cannot decide as have not seen Rallye's on a mauritius before.
That's all I have planned for now but here is a few pictures after I gave her a good wash, any comments welcome
Cheers for looking!

Thanks mate! It really has been looked after, cannot fault the previous owner. I am looking at getting a new clutch though as I am finding it difficult to put into 1st if I am at a standstill in traffic etc. I haven't got pictures of either pal I'm afraid, planning to get her up on a ramp or at least jacked up at the weekend so will get some then! As for the engine bay I will get some pictures and post up here tomorrow if I get time.

Right, so her is some pictures of the engine bay. It is a bit untidy so will be looking to clean it up when I get some time to do so.
So here is the engine bay as it stands at the minute
The induction kit is an absolute bodge job from what I can see, cheeky bit of tape lol
This will be getting replaced on Tuesday with a raceland 4-2-1
Little picture of the interior, GTI seats, in pretty good condition, may be looking to sell or swap with some buckets if anyone is interested!
And finally, am thinking of getting rid of these for some carbon effect ones with a red "S" rather than the yellow, thoughts?
Thanks for looking, more updates tomorrow and tuesday!

It's not a problem pal personally I'd get matching door cards for the front from a scrappies or eBay, and just enjoy it!

After a long arse trip to Ipswich this evening I've picked up a few cheeky bits for the vts
Raceland 4-2-1 manifold
Supersprint 2" inch exhaust full system de-cat with silencer
And tomorrow I should have Kam Racing exhaust mounts and my new head unit delivered!
Will get pics up tomorrow as it is all getting fitted in the afternoon!
Can't wait for some pops and bangs! And finally some music to listen to!
